More shower curtain magic...

Hi Everyone,

Just by coincidence, since my last entry dealt with showers, I have another shower curtain texture sheet. This one is courtesy of Barb, who provided us with samples this last weekend.

Three different colours of powders on scrap clays and here are the results. The blue piece is the actual shower curtain. I can see this on tins very easily and it's going to be part of my repertoire of textures.

Shower curtains seem to need the Pearlex type powders to show their true nature. We experimented with some pearl and mica clays and the effect wasn't as interesting as when the Pearlex was applied.

Anyhow, thought you'd like to see what can be done with a bit of curtain.

Cheers,

Sandy

What a creative place to find texture! How did you guys come up with that? Were you making beads in the shower? hahaha

Just kidding! I too pretty much look at everything as potentially being connected to polymer clay!

It's like we have a built in polyclay filter... that sunset looks like a teardrop blend, that pillow design looks like a cane design... and now... that shower curtain looks like a texture sheet!!

Thanks for the inspiration Sandy and Barb!

It was very interesting for me to read that post. Thanks for it. I like such topics and everything connected to this matter. BTW, try to add some images :).
